Adopt Resolution authorizing execution of the Second Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement for the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Building Improvements. |

Description of Action |
|
Due to statewide growth of the presence of Florida Green Finance Authority, the interlocal agreement creating the Authority has necessarily required specific revisions (to the program name, its Board of Supervisors’ composition and appointment, quorum requirement and program administration).
The Board of Supervisors of the Authority has approved such amendments to the interlocal agreement, and has asked that they be brought back to the originating parties for adoption. These changes are contained in the Second Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement.
The execution of the Second Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement by the City serves the best interests of the City’s residents and businesses, allowing for the program to finally “roll out” this summer. Adoption of a Resolution authorizing City officials to sign the Amended Agreement is recommended |
